- This means that if a person gets a PBJ for a traffic ticket then the points do not get assessed and if the person is an out of state driver, then there is no conviction to report to that person’s home state. Unfortunately, this does not apply to CDL drivers.
The PB&J Fund is currently running an Emergency Food Distribution program to provide weekend meal bags to families. You can support this effort by donating or signing up to volunteer.
We are limiting the number of volunteers involved in our weekly food distribution to maximize social distancing. At this time, only adults 18 years and older are able to volunteer with us. Volunteers currently pack and deliver bags of shelf stable food to Charlottesville families each Friday. If you are interested in participating in these efforts we will contact you with any future availability.
Clients often have difficulty understanding Probation before Judgment or PBJ. The historical purpose for seeking PBJ is not to have a criminal record, a public conviction or record, and especially for first offenders. However, over a period of years the purpose has been reduced by a number of modern events including the widespread use of the internet, the making of certain data bases 'public.
